Great case, now even better since being upgraded.
Pechorin6 18.10.2019
Before if there was perhaps one weakness in the design of this case it was that the back straps could only be secured by velcro when not in use, which is far from ideal when using public transport or moving through a crowd. But now there has been the new addition of a large, zipped pocket on the back of the case so that the straps can simply and quickly be neatly tucked away - perfect.

Other than that, this case remains about as securely and ideally close fitting for a Telecaster than any other I've tried.

All in all an intelligently thought out and well manufactured guitar case at a price which makes me consider it a bargain.

Protec Contego soft case
Fabio992 18.10.2013
I found this soft case heavier than I thought, not exactly light weight as advertised. I was surprised because it is thinner than the SKB Uni soft case (therefore more suitable to aircraft cabin). Contrary to the SKB, the Protec will not fall when laid on the ground on it side, provided the guitar is in. The build and materials are for sure high quality and will last. The pockets could hold a lot of stuff e.g. pedals, cables and even a laptop, but this would make the bag too heavy and difficult to handle. Protection to the guitar is good, and my Tele fits in nicely. There is a neck strap (not clearly visible in the pictures). The shoulder straps are backpack like and comfortable, but not detachable, that is a minus in my opinion, as they could get tangled during transport. There is a plastic ring to hang the case e.g. to a coat rack.

I LOVE it

Best guitar case/gigbag I have ever had. It is comfy, sturdy, with a lot of extra pockets for your cables, pedals, picks, tools etc...
Highly recommended for all strat-shaped guitar users.

Good protection, good value, heavy.
Paul926 01.02.2017
Serious case/bag, no bad habits, except for the fact that the back straps are always exposed, as they have no compartment of their own. Protection is good and there are lots of compartments to carry extra stuff. Sometimes I get bored of all the velcro you have to untangle to get to your guitar: velcro holds the handles together, velcro is over the zipper, velcro is over your guitar's neck. But you can cut off what you don't need.. Bag is a little heavy. Bike ride test: good.
