Useful "little" thing
Kata 13.02.2016
Nice quality, nice outer and inner material, that's just fine. However the handling is awsome!

Never had any other version, I am pretty much a beginner, however my luthier just wondered, i could remove the gigbag alone with one hand, while holding the upright bass straight standing with the other hand. And I could put back in there as well... No wrestling on the floor, not even four hand teamwork needed. That's cool imho.

The straps could be more comfy, the bow holder is pretty much useless as it is, unless you have a steel bow, or some unbreakable wood one.

DM
Great bag holding up well
Daniel M bass 29.09.2015
Honestly I didn't expect this "cheap" bag to hold up this well but about 4 months after getting it and doing numerous gigs it's done a great job. It makes it easy (or as easy as it ever will be) to carry around a double bass with enough protection from the elements and scrapes. It may not be good enough to protect from bigger impacts for example someone walked into the side of my bridge in a narrow hallway and shifted it accross a fair bit no major damage but I wouldn't recommend it for any tightly packed cars etc. Still a fantastic soft case (and that price :D)

Simple, well-built, no nonsense bag
walbassist 10.11.2015
This bag has no padding to speak of, none whatsoever, so in some ways it is nothing more than a glorified dust sheet. I wouldn't want to be moving a bass around in it a lot, but for occasional trips to gigs and the like, it should be fine.

That said, it is very nicely made. Really high quality components and construction. I'd certainly recommend it, just be aware that it's not a good bag for any road warriors out there!

So far so good

I´ve had one of these for over a year and another one for half a year and both are still in perfect condition, eaven the zippers. Comfortable to carry, bow & notes fit nicely in the pockets.
