Decent daisy chain
Anonymous 27.09.2014
I ordered this daisy chain to power three overdrive pedals and some other things, if necessary. I use it with a Voodoo Lab ISO-5. The quality of the components seems OK, but not exactly high-end. The L-jacks are fairly durable and aren't too big, which is an advantage for me. They're about the same size as the jacks that come with the Voodoo Lab power cables. The length of the cable between the power jacks is also quite large, a bit too large for my needs. All in all, a decent daisy chain.

Its okay but not great.

I was looking for a cheap option to supply all my Pedals (5 Pedals).
After connecting all pedals I realized that the Palmer MI PWC 6, created a noise which was hearable over the speakers.

So I then only connected 3 Pedals with the Palmer MI PWC 6, and the other 2 Pedals I connected with my other power supplies.
That solved the problem.

I don't think I would buy the Palmer MI PWC 6 again.
I would just save for a power supply unit for my Pedals.
For now it kind of works for me.

Helpful tool

I use the daisy chain to expand my Harley Benton Power Plant Junior, because I have more than five pedals and didn't want to use two power plants, because it was also new and I didn't know if the Power Plant is good. Now I know that the Power Plant works fine, but I won't buy a second one because this cable doesn't produce any hum or makes my sound worse when you only use pedals that are all befor your amp, or all in the FX loop. When you try to use pedals both before the amp and in the FX loop it will produce hum, but that's normal for a daisy chain and for only 6,30? you can't compare it to more expensive power supplies.

Very useful

I use this daisy-chain on my pedal board because I have a power supply which can easy provide enough power for all my pedals. I can recommend it because the pedal board looks tidy and I haven't noticed any humming so far.

I only use pedals which look like boss-pedals so for me the length between each connector is perfect to keep the whole pedal board tidy as I said. The cable also seems very solid as I have already stepped on it more often than once but there is still no sign of damage or even a cable break.

I can just recommend the option of using just one powerful power supply and then split the power to all effects and not using a power supply for every single effect which would make your pedal board look overstuffed.
