Quite light
JohnnyStrings 20.01.2019
As usual with Thomann the ukulele arrived within a few days of ordering. Great service. The first thing I noticed was how light the uke seemed after playing a tenor guitar. All good plus points except I found the action way too high and this needed to be lowered to make it comfortable for playing. Great built in tuner which appears to be very accurate and when plugged in the uke also sounded really good. Overall very pleased with the purchase. If the action was slightly lower it would have had top marks from me.

Great Baritone Ukulele!
Daithí 24.08.2024
This Ukulele is fantastic, the wood used for the body is very high quality, and the craftsmanship is excellent. I also purchased the Thomann Baritone Uke gig bag for safety, and while this isn’t a review about that I have to say they go hand in hand perfectly! I strongly recommend that you purchase such a case with the Uke as it doesn’t include one.

The only negative I can find with this Ukulele is that the preamp for the pickup charges via usb c. It doesn’t have a battery slot. This may be perfect for some people who do not plug in to a PA often, but for a frequent user having to charge your preamp for hours is a lot less ideal than just switching out the battery.

Overall this is a great bargain ukulele, just remember to purchase a travel case and a spare set of strings as they will all come in handy!

T
Lovely quality instrument
Tungfysh 02.11.2020
I have a few of Baritone Ukes now and this is by far the best. Nice full tone, easy to play, set up well and fantastic build quality... I'm not even going to say for the price as I have played more expensive models which didn't feel as good. The fretboard is lovely and the action is easy on the fingers. Great value for money. Pickup output is good to though I don't tend to use it for that, its my writing tool, fun and easy to play as well as being small enough to take anywhere.

Above any expectations
LindenBlossom1608 07.09.2024
After thorough googling I figured out that baritone ukulele might be my perfect instrument.
It is above any expectations to be honest. I audibly gasped when opened the box. Beautiful wood, delightful smell, impressive size.
Bonus - chargeable tuner, so no more hassle with batteries.
Pickup is great, tried it out immediately and was very pleased with the sound.

Had no issue with tuning it, yet nylon strings need to be tuned frequently since they’re new (as in all instruments with nylon strings).
Can’t leave it alone, it just wants to be played and played more.

Overall, I’m extremely happy. My excitement before the delivery was more than salvaged. Best birthday present I’ve ever gifted to myself.
