Das Clarineo eignet sich sehr gut für Grundschüler, die ausprobieren wollen, ob die Klarinette für sie das richtige Instrument ist. Sie können meist spontan die ersten Töne spielen und die Griffe der Blockflöte übernehmen. In der tiefen Lage klingt das Clarineo voll und die Töne lassen sich gut modulieren. Die Klappen lassen sich auch mit kleineren Händen gut erreichen. In der mittleren Lage wird es schon etwas schwieriger und um bis zum zweigestrichenen G oder gar darüber hinaus zu kommen, braucht es schon etwas Übung. Die individuell ideale Blättchenstärke muss man austesten. Für den ersten Anfang geht es mit dem 1er-Blättchen am besten. Wer es noch unkomplizierter haben möchte, kann das jSax wählen. Wer richtig Klarinette lernen will, beginnt lieber gleich mit einem traditionellen Instrument.
