Speaker simulator for guitar and bass

The Radar speaker cabinet simulator from Mooer's micro series is a small yet powerful tool that offers professional-quality speaker cabinet sound for both studio recordings and live performances. Thanks to its 30 simulated speaker cabs, eleven microphone models, four power amplifier models, and the additional option of loading third-party impulse responses (IR), the Mooer Radar can virtually replace a real speaker cab in various setups, delivering a lively, dynamic sound and an authentic playing feel that will satisfy even the most demanding guitar and bass players. This cab simulator in a compact pedal format features a line output, a headphone output, and a USB port that allows it to be connected to a computer in order to access the wide variety of editing options of the Mooer Studio Editor software.

The cab can stay at home

The Mooer Radar's 30 simulations represent the major names in the history of speaker cabs: From a Fender Champ style 1x8" combo, 2x12" emulations of Fender Twin Reverb amps, and the Vox AC30 AlNiCo speakers through to the classic 4x12" cabs from Marshall, Mesa Boogie, Diezel, and Orange. They also include a bunch of Ampeg emulations for bass guitars that range from 4x10" and 8x10" through to 1x15" combos, and eleven mic sims along the lines of renowned AKG, Rode, Neumann, Shure, and Sennheiser models. This is perfectly complemented by four fully editable power amp models and three customisable EQ sections that allow fine-tuning of the overall sound. All of the functions can be easily accessed and controlled via the LC display and a single central potentiometer.

Professional sound for everyone

The Mooer Radar cab simulator provides users of pedalboards, preamps, and modellers with a cost-effective and professional-sounding solution that allows them to optimally tweak their guitar tone before sending it to a PA, an amp, or the recording interface of a DAW. This compact pedal, which is packed with a comprehensive selection of cab sims, various emulated mics, three EQs, and four power amp sims, not only offers a wide variety of options for transforming guitar signals into a unique dynamic sound but also an intuitive, easy-to-use layout and a bunch of useful interfaces for the Mooer Studio Editor software, e.g. a headphone connection and a USB port, all of which makes the Mooer Radar eminently suitable for a wide range of applications – from quiet practice sessions and silent recordings in the living room through to impressive live gigs.

About Mooer

Mooer is based in the Chinese city of Shenzhen and has been making products for guitarists since 2010, which include compact single pedals through to multi-effects units and compact amplifiers. The company initially produced a range of mini pedals before making perhaps its most significant breakthrough in 2016 with the sophisticated Ocean Machine delay pedal, which was designed in collaboration with Devin Townsend. Mooer's product range now also includes solutions that feature amp modelling, IR-based speaker simulation, and matching equalisers, and the company's focus remains firmly on the use of digital technology.

A reliable companion on stage and in the studio

Whether users are looking for a comprehensive selection of speaker cabs for recordings in the studio or a professional-quality sound for their pedalboard on stage without the hassle of carrying heavy equipment – the Mooer Radar offers numerous high-quality cab sims for a wide range of applications at an affordable price, and is therefore an excellent alternative to similar products from competitors. And thanks to its clear and easy-to-use layout consisting of just one control knob and a colour display, the Radar allows both beginners and experts to achieve professional results in next to no time and store them in up to 36 user presets for instant access later on.
