Does exactly what its meant to for super value

This pedal is just fantastic. Every amount of gain sounds great, its very easy to tweak it to hit just a bit of break up on harder strokes. Brings double stops alive and responds extremely well to dynamic playing. Amazing value pedal, can't recommend enough.

Sweet overdrive

This is a Marshall BluesBreaker pedal clone. It's not for hair metal stuff unless paired with another overdrive/distortion.

Pros:
1. Smooth
2. True bypass unlike the origina BluesBreaker.
3. Small
4. Inexpensive
Cons:
1. Noise. When the pedal is on it produces lots of background noise.

Sounds great

It just makes my guitars sound better :D It is transparent in the way that the guitar's character comes accross (the attack, the decay, the frequency character of the guitar) and it does not compress too much, especially at lower gain levels. It is not transparent with regards to the overall EQ, it cuts bass and adds treble, so it is not a Timmy for example. You need to adjust all the controls every time you adjust one, e.g. adding gain increases the output level and treble, so you have to turn down the level and the tone knobs. But that's how the circuit is designed, I assume. No biggie. The gain knob doesn't do much until it is way up.

One drawback is that the level knob needs to be bery high, the pedal does not have much output and probably can't be used to push an amp. With low gain, it barely achieves unity gain.

Very satisfied with it, amazing sound for a great price.

Sl
great

ordered this to go with the firefly m5 case and the other pedals in the range i have already got. Great little pedals. A nice low gain for blues. if you want metal, this is not for you, if you want smooth valve like drive or to push a driven amp that bit further, this is great.
