It is very thin.

It is kind of like a standard guitar gig bag.

It will give you some level of protection for when you are in town, but it wont protect it so much of someone slams it hard or if very heavy equipment is placed on top.

Its a soft sleeve wind a little bit of padding to protect your djembe.

Note, this is not the same as the heavy duty soft bag that is sold with some wooden Meinl djembes. This is thinner.
