LP LPCMM Cajon Mic Mount Does the Job

My only problem with the mic mount is actually more to do with the specific cajon I use; a Schlagwerk La Peru, which I have used for more than 10 years. The adjustable bracket on the mic mount does not open wide enough to fit over the support framework of the cajon inside the bottom of the sound port. This means i have to attach the mic mount upside down at the top of the sound port. Not a major issue, but slightly annoying.

Great product, a few design problems

The mount is very sturdy, but there are 2 things problematic with it:
1. The mic mount should have some kind of rubber on the bottom of the thread, as mics tend to unscrew and then they don't point to the hole on the cajon (I am looking at you, Beta 52a)
2. The screw that holds the mic mount rod is a bit problematic, as it interferes with XLR connector for the mic. Even with the L XLR connector, it is a problem to screw the rod in place, and then plug the XLR cable. Maybe the problem are Betas 56a/52a, but still, it is a nuisance.

Everything else is very good, its firm, holds onto the cajon and doesn't go anywhere. You don't even notice it while you play, and if you are a drummer that moves with the cajon while playing it, this is a thing for you!

Great piece of gear to mount mic on Cajon, I have used this to mount all different types microphones. No more carrying around microphone stand for Cajon.

Manchmal muss eben eine Cajon aus Platzgründen ein Schlagzeug ersetzen. Um die Balance zu anderen (verstärkten) Instrumenten zu erzeugen ist es nach meiner Meinung meist unerlässlich die Cajon mit einem Mikrofon abzunehmen. Hierbei ist das LP Cajon Mic Mount äußerst hilfreich. Das Ding lässt sich an einfach am Schalloch der Cajon befestigen und hält das Mikrofon sicher am gewünschten Platz. Die Entfernung des Mikros zur Rückseite der Cajon, kann variiert werden. Auch die Höhe der Mikrofon Plazierung ist einstellbar. Das LP Cajon Mic Mount ist eine sehr praktische und elegante Lösung bzgl. der Mikro Abnahme einer Cajon. Danke an LP für dieses ausgezeichnete Design und Danke an Thomann für die schnelle Lieferung. Worauf ich noch hinweisen möchte ist das um die Höhe des Mikrofons einzustellen sollte man ein handelsüblichen Schlagzeug Stimmschlüssel benützen.
