Works fine (for the most part, see below) and has a very pleasant smell.

I've used this oil on at least 50 guitars and basses. It works great and has a very pleasant smell compared to most similar products.
The only time I wasn't happy with it was on a brand new Fender Ultra that had a slightly dry fingerboard out of the box. For some reason the fingerboard smelled absolutely horrible after I used this oil on it, similar to cat's urine (and no, I don't own any cats). I guess it must have reacted chemically with whatever Fender use on their Ultra series fingerboards. It was bad, really bad! I could smell the bass in the next room for at least 6 months!
Apart from that I've never had any problems. The oil protects the fingerboard for as long as can be expected.
I won't hesitate to buy this oil again for my personal instruments but I don't think I will ever risk using it at the workshop. Luckily the Fender Ultra I mentioned above was my own. If it had been a customer's instrument it would have been an absolute disaster!

Highly effective

I've bought it for the ebony fretboards of two of my basses. Though it is supposed to "work" better for fretted instruments, I had an extremely positive experience with a fretless bass.
Specifically, I mostly wanted to remove accumulated dirt and "soften" the markings from the use of roundwound strings on a fretless. There was some extensive rubbing involved, but the results were quite impressive. Don't expect wonders without buffing the fretboard, but... it was still very effective, and the fretboard was evidently rejuvenated.
I did use too much on my first try, but this was no problem at all; it does not leave any hard to remove residuals, nor changes how the fretboard feels.
All things considered, this has been a very good buy - I am not really experienced with such products, but this one seems to really do the job.

If you appreciate the woods in your instrument this bridge - fretboard oil is the best investment for properly care. Lush feel, and seems to last longer between applications. Beat any other Lemmon, orange, or whatever scented - colored thing. Mineral mixtures are largely best in any situation especially close to incrustations and frets that can react adversely to some products, also, will bring out the natural wood tones like any other, respect the elements that bring sound and joy. Electric or acoustic, give some love to your instrument.

Superb

There isn't much to say about this oil, it's simply superb. Very good smell, fantastic conditioning, fretboard looks healthier than ever, smells very good...it also appears to be 100% natural so no petrols in it. Highly Recommended
