An affordable 7/8 guitar with a solid top

With a reduced scale length of 630mm and a shallow body, the La Mancha Rubinito Rojo SM/63-N is ideal for children, teenagers, and more petite players. Any concerns that a smaller scale might come at the expense of a full and clear sound are unwarranted, however, as this is ensured by the tonewoods used for the back, sides, and neck of the instrument, in combination with the solid spruce top. Reliable tuning stability is provided by the guitar’s robust machine heads, which also feature visually appealing black buttons. The guitar is delivered complete with Savarez strings, which are appropriately matched to the scale length.

A solid top for a powerful sound

The back and sides of the Rubinito Rojo SM/63-N are made of laminated maple, which, in combination with the solid spruce top, produces a resonant sound with plenty of presence. Spruce tops mature and improve over time, increasing their sonic richness as the player improves their skills. The slender neck constructed from nato wood features a fingerboard made of ovangkol – both long-established and proven tonewoods used in instrument making. The red matt open-pore finish gives the guitar’s body plenty of freedom to breathe and resonate, ensuring a sound that is in no way inferior to that of a larger, full-scale acoustic guitar.

For children, teenagers, and anyone with smaller hands

With its reduced scale length and shallow body, the La Mancha Rubinito Rojo SM/63-N is predominantly aimed at larger children, teenagers, and petite players who find the full-sized model too bulky or cumbersome. The width of the nut has also been reduced to just 47mm, which, in combination with the slim-taper neck, greatly increases playability and makes the instrument an ideal entry point for beginners and provides enhanced playing pleasure for advanced musicians. As is usual with this design, the guitar comes without a strap button and is designed for seated playing.

About La Mancha

La Mancha is the house brand of the Tübingen-based distributor Reinhardt GmbH. The instruments are designed on site by experts with decades of experience in guitar building, and La Mancha guitars are built in Asia under constant, meticulous quality control. La Mancha is especially known for its Rubi-series guitars, which are designed with shorter scale lengths aimed primarily at children. These instruments have been recommended several times by the EGTA (European Guitar Teachers Association).

A guitar for all occasions

Whatever the occasion – whether practising at home, jamming with friends, or recording with a microphone – the La Mancha Rubinito Rojo SM/63-N is optimally prepared and, with its reduced scale length, shallow body, and a neck that is delightfully easy to play, treats its users to both a warm, resonant sound and solid workmanship. Produced with an open-pore red finish, the maple body with its solid spruce top not only takes on a modern appearance but will also deliver an impressive level of volume.

Eine schöne kleine Gitarre
Patoempf 01.02.2021

Ja!
