Back to the 80's

I was suprised by the sound of this guitar. The 2 Seymour Duncan Humbucker pickups don't scream as much as I thought they would but this to me is not a bad thing. I like the single coil sound of a Fender strat and you kind of get this when you pull the volume knob out (paralleling the 2 coils of the Humbucker pickup - great feature of this guitar). When the coils are in series (volume knob normal) you get a bit more punch. Ive never owned a guitar made entirely out of mapel and I suspect this is the reason the guitar sound suprised me as much as it did. The overall quality of the guitar is good for the price bracket. I have tortured the Floyd Rose and it doesn't go out of tune which is the least I expect but dont always get. Paint job is 80's to the core which gives a fun feel to it when playing. I like this feeling. I like this guitar.

Kramer Pacer - Bengal Tiger Stripe
Anonymous 21.04.2015
I expected it to be a pretty good guitar, considering the price and name on the headstock, but was completely blown away by the feel of it. The pickups sound great and coil split is a nice touch too. The neck is one of the few necks chunky enough for my hand to fit around without feeling like I'm holding a twig and the trem system is IMPOSSIBLE to get out of tune. It also looks awesome which for a guitar like this just completes it.

The only issues I had were the frets being slightly rough and the strings it came with not being my choice, but both are easily fixed and it plays better than any of my other guitars.

Overall, great sound, great feel and a great look. Worth the money and more!

stunner

I bought this one mainly for the looks, shame on me, but it does not disappoint on any other point. I have another Kramer (and lots of other guitars) and they are really top notch on all fronts. This one feels sturdy, no finish issue at all, the neck smooth and thin enough for my smallish hands. Basically, I love this one, would recommend!
