B
Great budget fuzz
BatorSiklodi 21.02.2022
It has all the functionalities you would expect from a 2 tranzistor fuzz.

The build quality is great, as you would expect it from JHS.

The only reason I gave it a 4 for the Sound is that it is not as transparent to the lows as it would need to be for bassists, but hey this is not advertised as bass fuzz. You get what you pay for. I am sure guitarists have no issue with it.

It has a bity, agressive sound. Works for bass as well if you can blend it with your clean signal on your board! Thats what I do.

z
Very good fuzz
zmalta 10.11.2020
The bias dial has a very wide range which really gives the fuzz that bit crushed and splotchy sound.
Even with the bias off and just the fuzz on its own it sounds very good.
With the fuzz all the way up, the notes still sound good, it doesn't get all muddy.

Good but..
explorerc 23.03.2025
Hello everyone. I bought this pedal to use mainly with my Marshall SV20H. Also, I have DSL1H, VOXAC10C1 and TC Electronic 65 deluxe reverb preamp. This pedal is well built and compact. But sound wise, It does not sound good with my strats. It only sounds ok with my Gibson sg and Gretsch with p90 on the neck and broadtron on the bridge. Too much noise and hissing when activated. I tried this pedal with all these amps and preamp. My best friend plays live gig every week, and I brought it to him to use in the stage, but no way it is non usable at all due to noise issue. May be my particular one has a problem I am not sure, or may be electrical substructure is the issue. Anyway, these were my thoughts. Have a nice day!

sounds amazing
droose 13.10.2020
In my room, I use this pedal to clip the sound waves of my electric guitar from sine to square wave. I like the way this pedal does this: both the bias & fuzz controls offer a wide variety of sounds, color, texture, ... Just amazing!
