Compact coaxial speakers

The JBL 104-BT speakers are characterised by their compact dimensions. These coaxial speakers are the perfect choice for anyone who is looking for more discretely sized studio monitors for use on desks or on the go. The JBL 104-BT speakers feature an innovative acoustic design, a powerful 60W amplifier (Class D), and high-quality 4.5" woofers and 0.75" soft-dome tweeters for excellent sound reproduction. The speaker system also comes with three physical input options and an integrated Bluetooth 5.0 interface for connecting domestic playback devices, consumer electronics, and professional sound equipment.

One master, one slave

The JBL 104-BT speakers are driven by a powerful 60W Class D digital amplifier, which is located in the housing of the master speaker and distributes 30W to each speaker, enabling the speaker system to achieve a peak level of 104db SPL. The extension speaker receives the audio signal from the master speaker via a standard speaker cable, and the speaker system is operated using the controls on the front panel, which include an input selector switch and a status LED for Bluetooth operation, in addition to the volume control. The input selector switch allows audio sources to be used individually or in combination.

Excellent sound in a compact design

The compact design of the JBL 104-BT makes this speaker system the ideal choice for all desktop applications and for use on the go. Thanks to their small dimensions, the speakers can be used on the smallest of desks or easily packed in luggage, providing a winning combination of powerful and accurate sound despite their small construction, equally suited to music enjoyment and audio editing. The three physical input options allow different equipment to be connected, while the integrated Bluetooth 5.0 interface offers the convenience of wireless audio streaming.

About JBL

JBL is an American company founded by James B. Lansing in 1946, which first went under the name of Lansing Sound Inc. Following legal disputes with Lansing's previous company, Altec Lansing, Lansing Sound Inc. changed its name first to James B. Lansing Sound Inc., and then finally to JBL in 1949. JBL's current headquarters are based in Los Angeles, USA. The company is well known for its audio system equipment, including loudspeakers and headphones, and is divided into two branches: JBL Consumer, which is dedicated to the consumer sector, and JBL Professional, which is focused on the professional audio sector and offers equipment for studios, live applications, and cinemas. JBL has been a part of Harman International Industries Inc. since 1969, which in 2017 became a subsidiary of the Samsung Group.

By cable or Bluetooth 5.0

A major advantage of the JBL 104-BT is the integrated Bluetooth 5.0 interface, which enables wireless music streaming from a laptop or mobile telephone via a streaming service. The RCA sockets and 3.5mm auxiliary connection, which provide hassle-free connection of domestic playback devices and consumer electronic devices, will also be a major benefit. Anyone wishing to use the JBL 104-BT for commercial applications, however, will benefit from the symmetrical TRS sockets, which allow an interference-free connection to professional equipment such as audio interfaces.
