Nice amp to extend the capabilities of your acoustic

The amp sounds very nice. It's alright if you want to practice at home, or even in small places with a little crowd. It extends the capability of your instrument, as you can change bass/treble and also add a chorus. I would have liked to have also the reverb, but for this price I guess it is ok.
It is also a very beautiful amp, with nice color and very beautiful finish. I suggest it to every acoustic guitar player.

Great sound, annoying lead

Decided to pass the option for an AC/battery combo to get a better sounding/looking unit, and am annoyed to find this comes with a two-pin lead only (Thomann had thrown in a 3-pin lead in the box, but doesn’t seem to realise the unit is hard-wired). So now it’s going to be more pudding around with adapters, and the cable doesn’t even have a management compartment. Still wondering if I should return it and pay more for something less fiddly to work with. Disappointing.

Der Verstärker ist leicht und handlich. Ich benutze ihn zum Verstärken einer Westerngitarre, da macht er einen guten Job. Auch mit einer semi-hollow-Body E-Gitarre mit 2 Humbuckern und einem Echo-Effektgerät bekommt man einen halbwegs brauchbaren Sound raus. Aber die Stärken liegen eindeutig bei akustischen Gitarren. Da sind Verstärkung und Ton gut. Von den angegebenen 15 Watt sollte man sich nicht täuschen lassen, denn weil das Gerät wenig größer ist als eine Damenhandtasche vibriert es bei hoher Lautstärke ziemlich. Der Chorus ist in Ordnung für eine kleine Anwendung, um Balladen oder Singlenotes zu verhübschen.
Die Mikrofoneinheit ist mit Vorsicht zu genießen. Sie hält mit der Lautstärke der Gitarreneinheit keineswegs mit. Es gibt keinen Hall, kein Echo, keine Regelmöglichkeit der Töne. Ein einfacher Tonregler wäre gut gewesen. Mit Hilfe eines Mikrofonverstärkers (z.B. ART Tube MP) kriegt man die Lautstärke angehoben. Wenn man dann einen einigermaßen vernünftigen Raum hat, okay.
Merkwürdig ist, dass IBANEZ sich auch einen Kopfhörerausgang gespart hat. Vielleicht denken die: Die Leute SOLLEN das Gerät ausschließlich mit akustischen Instrumenten benutzen, die man sowieso hört. Kann sein. Damit hätten sie recht.
Also, es ist KEINE eierlegenden Wollmilchsau, der Mikro-Kanal benötigt einen PreAmp, aber der Klang mit einer Westerngitarre ist für ein Gerät dieser Preisklasse beachtlich.

Ce petit amplificateur d'étude rempli pleinement ses promesses à la maison. La puissance est un peu juste en répétition avec d'autres musiciens, il vaudra mieux dans ce cas choisir le modèle 30W. Les réglages sont simples avec une égalisation basse aigue, un poussoir pour activer le chorus non ajustable et les volumes du canal électro et micro. Le son est correct et fidèle mais le manque de réglage médium se fait parfois sentir.
