I own 7 electric guitars, one bass and a classical, they all fit perfectly on these things. The one that worried me the most was the telecaster cause as you probably know they have a very thin headstock, I thought it would pass through, but no, this thing stops it and holds it quite well.
Another thing that I have noticed with other wall mounts is that sometimes due to an odd non-symmetrical headstock (Stratocaster) the guitar would be held in an awkward position or would be slanted as a result, not the case with this wall mount.
So yes, this has been engineered to work with all shapes, totally recommend.

Love these
Just reviewing 06.05.2021
I have 10 of these on my wall in the studio.
Best Wall mount out there.
It's up to you if you prefer the metal base (like this one) or wooden base.
Both equally as good. I prefer the Metal base as it sits pretty flush with the wall and I guess 3 screws makes me personally feel better. I have seen plenty of the wood base ones up in different places, and they work perfectly well and look great (it's really just a minor personal design question which one you prefer).
The locking function when you take the instrument of and put it back still makes me happy after more than 10 years! You can use these for most stringed instruments (not sure I'd hang a double bass or cello from these, but guitars, acoustic guitars, basses, ukuleles, banjos, bouzoukis/violins/violas etc. are all great!

Worth every cent

I purchased these guitar holders in 2019 and they are still going strong. According to what I have seen and heard from the 'experts' (e.g. Philip Mcknight), it is always better to suspend a guitar via the headstock, as this puts less strain on the neck. And these Hercules stands are perfect for doing that. I have used them to securely hold Stratocaster as well as the Les Paul style headstocks. (I haven't tried them on Parker, Jackson, or any other style of headstock, so I can't vouch for those.) Plus, they remove the danger of accidentally knocking a guitar off a floor stand, which might have serious consequences for Les Paul-style guitars e.g. a broken headstock. Therefore, I highly recommend them.

Outstanding

Very sturdy. Tested in multiple earthquakes throughout this year in Croatia, guitars remained completely intact and in place.
