Great strings

Having decided that I was going to give Rockabilly a go and having already tried Weed Wackers (which were just awful) I decided to buy a good quality set of strings for slapping. I read many reviews and watched some videos on Youtube and decided to buy these strings. These strings are great! Once settled in they have a great dark thumpy old school tone and great for slapping. These strings are perfect for allowing me to build up my technique. The one thing I didn't want from a string for slapping was it to sound as if it was choking like many videos on Youtube do. When slapped these strings keep their composure and just sound fantastic.

Made my mid heavy at times nasal double bass Thump like a champ. They play really easy right out of the box with no stickiness that I noticed. Low tension makes them extremely easy to play. The balance between the E/A strings and the D/G is also much better than expected. I was planning to use spirocore on the lower strings but after trying them I'll leave the whole set on.
