Two nice sets of screws but ...
Dr Bassman 16.12.2019
A while back, I bought a Harley Benton B-450 QTB bass from Thomann. It's an amazing instrument but unfortunately it lost one of the fixing screws for its neck pickup. I later found out that this is a reasonably common problem because these screws are not always tightened properly during manufacture. Hence, they have a tendency to fall out.

Anyhow, to cut a very long story short, Thomann kindly sent me two packets of these screws in order that I might rectify the problem with my bass. Don't get me wrong, they are nice enough screws (so 5 stars for quality) BUT they are too long for my B-450 QTB; which is only one star overall i.e.. they are of little use to me.

Seriously, sometimes I just want to scweam and scweam and scweam and scweam ...

Works fine, good quality.
TrEr 09.06.2020
I got these because according to the specs they were slightly longer than most standard pickup screws. I have a bass with slightly deeper routing than normal and none of the spare screws I had were long enough to adjust the pickups correctly.

These screws did the trick. They're only 2-3 mm longer but it was enough to get the pickups where I wanted them.

Quality wise they're perfectly fine. Nothing exceptional, they're simply good quality screws.

Carpenters choice.
Woodwork Barn 17.10.2017
The Screws were used in an experimental P Bass which I made from Oak! (being a carpenter, I get a lot of good quality off-cuts). When new, being decent quality, the screws drove into the hard wood perfectly. However, about a month later when I came to adjust the height of my pick-ups, two of the screws refused to budge and I ended up rounding the heads off. This was through no fault of the screws but was due to the high tannin content in Oak which can eat steel. As a carpenter I should have realised this earlier. I managed to remove them cleanly with pliers in the end!

In summary;
Good quality screws, perfect for use in normal tone woods, will be buying more very very soon but oiling them well before they go back in!
Oak.... Excellent tone wood, but a bit heavy and likes to eat steel! :)
