Sure it’s all hype, over priced hype with poor QC. Er, NO! This is a brilliant guitar! The neck is smooth a rapid. Faster than a wizard neck cos it’s not as wide and Gibsons are infinitely more moddable! I gave 4 for features cos I swapped out the pups for bareknuckle hsp90 blue notes. Amazing now , fat n fast! I also top wrapped the strings. The wood
grain is fabulous and the tuners berry smooth and accurate.
I’ll get another next year or later this year if I can. Can’t recommend it enough.
After a couple of weeks and an attempt at a modified set up and having taken to the local luthier, a fret level is required. Gonna have to mark down to 4 cos Gibson shouldn’t be sending out expensive guitars with uneven frets, while epiphones are much better... second Gibson that needed a fret level.

Habe mir die gute bestellt, da ich mal die neuen Qualitäten von Gibson erleben wollte. Die Gitarre ist wirklich ein Brett. Sound 5 Sterne.
Die Burstbucker leisten ganze Arbeit. Auch der Hals ist superschnell.War allerdings mit der Farbe etwas verwirrt.
VC steht ja wohl für Vintage Cherry. Ausgeliefert wird sie aber in Heritage Cherry. Das ist schon ein Unterschied, aber egal.
Kompliziert wurde es bei mir als ich feststellen musste, dass in der SG rechtshänder Potis verbaut sind !!! Von der Konkurenz kenne ich das nicht. Nach telefonischer Nachfrage bei Thomann, erfuhr ich, dass Gibson das wohl bei allen teureren Modellen macht. warum????
Für mich ist dies ein Rücksende Grund. Schade.
Natürlich kann man hier handanlegen und die Potis ersetzen. Aber mal ehrlich, in dieser Preisklasse sollte dass schon alles perfekt sein.
Wer damit klar kommt, hat aber eine Super Gitarre, die viel Spass macht.

une SG quoi,elle correspond à mes attentes.
legerete (ma les paul est trop lourde)
son en le travaillant un peu on peut faire beaucoup de chose et toucher pas mal de styles.
pour finir Thomann toujours à la hauteur service conseil et gentillesse!!!
