Overpriced
Algirdas 21.05.2013
Just like any other Gibson product I've had, this is a very high quality part. However, I don't understand why it costs twice as much as some other alternatives that I've seen. Surely, for people who need a retrofit for one of the vintage Gibsons in their collection, this may be the most period-correct part on the market (after all, it is made by the same company that made the originals), but for the more sensible musicians who just need a quality replacement, there are plenty of cheaper alternatives that aren't in any way inferior to this product. I think its high price is unjustified.

Excellent original part

Before installation, it is important to check that the rear part does not have any sharp burrs, but if there is, remove it before installation.
It is also important to remember, when installing or replacing plastic washer you must unscrew the switch cover on the back of the body and hold the switch with your hand while unscrewing or tightening the clamping nut thats clamp plastic washer and holding switch. It is better to start unscrewing the clamping nut by holding the nut from turning with your fingers and slightly turning the switch counterclockwise by one eighth or sixth of a turn, and then unscrew the loosened nut with your fingers. Assemble in reverse order. With wishes good look and great sound to your guitar!

Simple and cool!

With a few words, the plastic washer gave my Gibson LP the traditional flavor that's missing from the company the last years..

El poker chip original

Si tu guitarra no tiene poker chip o necesitas cambiar el color, esta es la opción perfecta. No hay nada mas gibson que usar partes originales.
