Ich bin nach längerer Zeit als Gitarrist und Nutzer von Ernie Ball Saiten auf aktuell Gibson Brite Wire „Reinforced“ Saiten umgestiegen. Ich habe dann alle meine Gitarren mit den Gibson Saiten besaitet. Meine persönliche Meinung als „Les Paul“ Player ist, dass diese Saiten für eine Les Paul ein absolutes Muss sind!
Das Preis-/Leistungs-Verhältnis empfinde ich als sehr passend.
Nicht nur klanglich, sondern auch charakteristisch hat sich das Ansprechverhalten meiner „Paulas“ positiv erweitert.
Das Sustain ist fantastisch, da sich die Saiten weich anfühlen und klingen in den Höhen, Mitten und Tiefen sehr gut. So wie man es erwartet! Auch nach diversen „Bendings“ und täglicher Benutzung der Instrumente ist mir noch keine Saite gerissen, auch bleibt der Glanz sowie der präzise Klang für meine Ohren lange erhalten. Eine klare Kaufempfehlung!
