A few words about my new guitar.
Happy Furch owner. 30.01.2025
A great start to 2025. My Furch OMc-CM finally arrived.
The impressions are bright. Complete WOW-effect!
Despite it's size, the guitar is surprisingly loud. Who is this guitar intended for? For advanced players of fingerstyle and jazz music. Here is my favorite combination of cedar and mahogany. The warm and complex midrage that is crucial for fingerstyle and jazz. I'am not a professional muzician, and i really wanted a guitar without any electronics. That is exactly what i was looking for!
You can find something to criticize in any guitar, even the most expensive one from the most famous brand. In this guitar, the neck is a bit heavy relative to the body. But that is completely understandable. This is due to the fact that the neck contains the famous Furch SNR-System. That is very useful thing. Don't worry, you will get used to this neck very quickly. I'am also a little disappointed by the skinny frets, and the fact that the guitar needs a string height adjustment.
But these are minore things that didn't spoil my mood.
Let's sum things up.
A world class instrument that you wouldn't be ashamed to take on stage to receive a Grammy with, and that's also great for playing at home on the couch!
Thank you so much to the Thomann team for their great work, and of course thank you Furch!
I defenitely recommend it!
