Cheap, easy to install, decent sounding piezo pick-up
josebass 30.04.2020
This pick-up is HASSLE FREE!

Use
I'm a bass player that gigs around the city and must of the time I need to travel as light as possible. With this piezo I can easily connect to the PA or bass amp in any venue.

Pros
- Extremely easy to install. If you don't have the knowledge nor want to damage your bass by taking out the bridge to install a piezo, or if you don't wanna send it to someone, either because you don't trust, or have no money, or simply you don't want the hassle of it.
- It sounds good, for any gig it will be perfect.

Cons
- You have to attach it properly, this is not a major issue, but if you don't make sure it's properly installed, then it will probably come off.
- The sound is good, but not amazing, you might not want to use it for a serious recording.

Overall
If you need it for live applications it is perfect, no need to do anything to your bass and you will be happy with it.
Now, if you have experience with pick-ups, you're an experienced player, you are a studio musician and you want the next level in sound. Then, you'll need to go for a better pick-up and spend more money, plus probably go through the hassle of installing the piezo/pick-up under the bridge.

It doesn't get any better for the money, if you are looking for somewhere to start it might has well be here!
Its sounds good it's pretty simple to install because it comes with some very practical shims to adapt it to your bridge, and it has a nice output level!

Very good product. Has a surprising loud signal. so needs a bit of tweaking on the EQ to avoid feedback. Very easy to install and very nice that they added the wooden spacer, gives it a more classy look then using a piece of paper of a block. I just changed the screw with a slight easier to use model.

Piezo peu convaincant
Jarles 04.09.2021
