Rock music would not be the same without it

Fender Player Series Tele MN PWT Electric Guitar

The Fender Telecaster is an integral part of Rock history, and Fender is keeping this spirit alive with the Player Series Tele MN PWT, an instrument that comes in a classic Polar White finish and combines all of the attributes associated with a genuine Tele. These include an alder body, a slim maple neck with a maple fingerboard, and pickups with AlNiCo-V magnets, which have been specially developed for the Player Series and provide an enormously versatile sound that will fit seamlessly into many musical styles. This is rounded off by the typical Tele-type bridge, which delivers an extra helping of resonance with its string-through-body design, and a set of reliable machine heads that adorn the guitar's classic Telecaster headstock.

Pure playability

Anyone playing Country, Blues, or any kind of Rock & Roll can’t go wrong with a Telecaster. The Tele has a well-earned reputation as one of the world's most playable electric guitars, and the Player Series Tele is no exception. With its slim, matt-lacquered maple neck and 22-fret high-gloss maple fingerboard, players get a combination of finishes that used to be available only on much more expensive models. The two New Player AlNiCo-V single coil pickups deliver the typical Tele sound, which of course includes the familiar "twang" that can be controlled via a three-way switch, as well as a single control each for volume and tone. The instrument’s authentic looks would of course not be complete without the classic metal bridge plate, which thanks to the string-through-body design and steel saddles provides an extra portion of resonance and sustain.

Welcome to the world of the Fender Telecaster

In spite of its high build quality, the Fender Player Series Tele MN PWT is available at an attractive price, which makes it ideal for guitarists who want to add an authentic Fender to their collection as well as for beginners looking to have a reliable and high-quality Tele in Fender's classic Polar White finish as part of their arsenal right from the start. The comfortable slim-taper maple neck should appeal to everyone, and the New Player AlNiCo-V single coils put everything from crystalline cleans through to full-on overdrive sounds at the player's fingertips, with the Telecaster's trademark assurance that the sound will always cut through the mix while delivering plenty of headroom and of course the famous "Tele twang".

About Fender

Fender is without doubt one of the most legendary guitar and amplifier manufacturers of all time. The company was founded in 1946 by its namesake Leo Fender († 1991), whose innovative ideas brought a breath of fresh air into the musical world. His Telecaster, Stratocaster, Precision Bass, and Jazz Bass are not only classics – they also continue to shape the styles of musicians in countless genres to this day. Timeless Fender amplifier models such as the Bassman, Twin, Deluxe, and Princeton also enjoy a stellar reputation. Besides maintaining its classic product portfolio, however, the company is also constantly developing new products that make Fender a driving force in today’s music industry.

Versatile AlNiCo-V pickups

The Fender Player Series Telecaster's combination of a solid wood body and neck together with its New Player AlNiCo-V single coils gives it the authentic "Tele" sound described above, which makes this instrument a great choice for any style even remotely associated with Rock & Roll. And the guitar truly comes into its own when combined with a high-quality tube amplifier that brings out every nuance of its sound - perfect for the studio, the rehearsal room, and the stage, all of which the Fender Telecaster has long called home.

No regrets!

its my first telecaster and i dont regret it at all.
i bought to replace my main guitar cause i dont want to bring my guitar out to many times, just for protection. so it was only for the repetitions and small gigs. but after i got it, i was suprised, it feels very nice in your hand, the weight the touch the frets and oh the sound !! perfect! so i use it at every gig now !
pros : you got an amazing telecaster at a friendly price ! and it competes easily with the american version
cons: if you want to put a cover bridge , you got to change the bridge to the vintage style.

anyways you wont regret it!

this was the first run. the factory had put the wrong saddles on the bridge (well known issue) I was having a horrible time with stability and string changes. I only became aware it was a serious production error when I saw one in the local shop which had different sddles on. a quick google revealed there had been a massive c*** up with these guitars. fender were sending out bridge saddles under warranty and so I contacted thomann and went from department to department explaining again and again. then starting over etc...

Solid build and great sound
Setonis 13.11.2020
With this model you get what you would expect from a high quality telecaster. Sturdy and solid build, clean wiring and bright sound. Love the tone of the polar white color and the fretboardless maple neck. For my personal taste an additional pickup position offering a warmer and thicker tone would make this guitar just perfect for me, which is why I am planning a 4way pickup selection mod.

Fantastic instrument

I'm more of classical guitar player, but was genuinely impressed when playing this to find out the absolute quality of the product. For the price of an intermediate guitar, you're getting a genuine Fender guitar (which comes with bragging rights) which plays and sounds great. I've had it for about a year now and have had 0 issues. Highly recommended.
