boost a crunch sound and get full overdrive, or volum down and full boost and get jazzy/brown sound

I have Clapton guitars from before, so I knew what product this was, previous reviews write that it was difficult to know where everything should be connected, but I think it was a good connection drawing that came with the set, all wires are drawn where they should be soldered , but remember that you have to make room for the circuit board under the pickguard with a router or similar, so in addition to soldering you also have to do some wood work, but the sound is good when boosted, try also full boost but with the normal volume down.

Cool Upgrade
TheCorfiot 25.12.2022
Always wanted a Clapton Strat but don't like maple fretboards.
I retrofitted this into a 61 vintage reissue with hot noiseless fender pickups, tbx control and a 10 position selector switch.
Every sonic base covered.
The secret to using the mid control is dont just max it out... thecsweet spots are between 1 and 5
Plus.... turning the volume down retains the full tonal spectrum.
If you have the skills, fit it

Pretty useless kit as it stands...
TerenceB 30.05.2015
Very disappointing. The included ?instructions? (for want of a better word) are almost entirely useless, comprising two sides of A4 with a variety of hard-to-read diagrams. There's no back-up information for this from the Fender website, and very little other info available on line - one person has put together his own step-by-step guide. This is very frustrating as it quite clearly wouldn't require a great deal of technical knowledge to install.
The one-star review doesn't reflect the quality of the components or the modification itself - that may well be excellent - but since the instructions are incomprehensible I'm unlikely to find out, and wouldn't recommend buying it at all. I can only guess that this kit is aimed at someone with specialised knowledge such as a professional guitar technician.
