A great Reverb pedal for starters...
C3lio 03.07.2019
I've been using this pedal for almost a Year by now, and I must say it wasn't till recently I've actually encountered his full potencial, since I started to use it at the church (as a relatively quiet place) I could listen to just about all nuances and frequencies it adds to my sound. Aside from the Room an Hall options, the Cathedral sound on option "Special -V1"; can get you very addicted once you stop playing with the shimmer on "Special -V2" and you also have the Dry Kill switch which if turned on you listen only to the Reverb frequencies without the pick of the strings, like a Swell...

So, in one hand you get a pretty versatile Reverb pedal on a bargain price with a nice construction. In other hand, due to it's metallic surface the rubber pins that come with on the box, don't hold on too well, and within days the pedal is directly in touch with the floor, so if u don't have a pedalboard, I recommend a small Carpet xD...

Hope i've been useful on your decision, Enjoy your new pedal ;)

Beautiful tones

I bought this pedal because I wanted some dreamy tones and boy, did it deliver!?
You'll get standard room reverb sounds (as you'd expect)
Then you can really add some shimmer for those clean sounds.
Using it along with my Fender "The Bends" pedal really helps make a warm clean tone.
I think I managed to successfully replicate The Edge's guitar tone in With or Without You:
a combination of the Marine Layer Reverb with The Bends compressor along with the TC Electronic Flashback Delay pedal. All 3 pedals are very reasonably priced.

Inspiring box of verbness
Dusko 05.05.2018
Very happy with this Marine Layer! It certainly sounds good in drenched mode as in a more discrete mode. All 3 reverbs sound great and have their place in my songs. The Special 2 is so good and sounds as if a violin is playing behind my guitar tone! Damping and Pre-delay are VERY helpful and so is the Filter switch to brighten or darken the sound a bit. This unit needs more power than suggested other wise some noise will occur. I now run 500mA into it and no more noise issues! Sounds great into the front end of the amp and into my Digitech RP225 preamp. Sounds great into the FX Loop but since mine is In Series I can not use the Dry Kill (only can be used In Parallel FX Loops). Very inspiring straight forward pedal that's very much intuitive. Love this thing!
