I have Squier CVC Telecaster. I am happy with this guitar overall but had minor issues with it's volume and tone control. I wanted them to have more smooth feel when I roll, to have gradual increase and decrease of its value. So I replaced stock pots to these.
It was more than I expected.
Pro: It opened up my guitar sound. Sound coming out of my guitar became more clearer and fuller. I felt like I installed new pups. And man... rolling these is really smooth and fun. With stock pots, I couldn't do 'Roy Buchanan' style volume and tone swells but with these, no problem at all.
With this minor upgrade, I am happy camper.
Con: None.
If you are not happy with your guitar sound (single coiled pups installed), try to swap your pots with this one [first] and see if you like the sound.

Sets the standard

If I’m ever replacing the electronics in a Fender guitar or bass, I would use nothing else.
Reliable and durable, could potentially last decades. I’ve never had any issues with these pots.

Fender Pot and capacitor
Ben7676 01.09.2014
Excellent quality product very easy to install but make sure you are using an appropriate wiring diagram and good quality solder to make for the best results. Relating to this it is also important to note that this is a 250K pot. Also note the capacitance of the capacitor and see weather you will be using this (to create a tone knob or otherwise).
I have found that the solid shaft variety of Pots are best used with knobs that have grub screws (also make sure you correctly select the knob so that the shaft will fit).
Overall an excellent pot which can be used as a replacement or as part of a new build (especially good when fixing a fender).

Benchmark pots!

I'm in the process of building an offset Tele and I plan to put little '59 in the bridge position and tex-mex in the neck. Two volumes, no tone. The 250K pot will control the neck pickup. I've used Fender pots in the past, typical CTS pots, they are sturdy, long lasting and do the job well.
