Always wanted one

Always wanted one,so when I got the chance, I bought one right away.
Its a very nice looking guitar with the stripe pattern like Eddies Axe
from 1984.
The finish is really good,like everything on this guitar is top quality.
The sound,It sounds like the 1984 record on my 5150III combo,it has not as much output as the other striped guitars in the serie you really have to push your solos
,but it sounds much more open and crisp with tons of overtone compared to the other ones.
Really happy with this guitar 5 stars for me

Quello che serve per suonare Van halen

Ottima chitarra sotto ogni aspetto, semplice ergonomica, action perfetta, manico sottile, pickup potente con persoinalità. Ponet FR bloccato e possibilità di drop-D. Insomma tutto quello che serve per fare cover dei Van Halen.

Für alles verzerrte ist diese Gitarre echt geil ! Und für Van Halen Sound sowieso. ABER: für jeglichen clean-sound sei gesagt, dass diese Gitarre nur einen Humbucker am Steg hat. Im Gegensatz zu einer normalen Stratocaster fehlen hier der mittlere und der Hals-pickup und dementsprechend klingt alles was clean gespielt wird nicht im entferntesten so, wie wenn man diese beiden Tonabnehmer hätte. Also nochmal: die Gitarre ist schon geil, aber halt, wie ich finde, komplett auf verzerrt ausgelegt. Das sollte man halt wissen, wenn man sie bestellt, weil sie einfach nur geil aussieht, so wie ich das gemacht habe ;-) Für schönen clean sound einfach eine normale Stratocaster (aber nicht mit noiseless single coils - denn die klingen sehr dumpf) nehmen.

Dissapointment

The finish is very dissapointing. It feels like the body is made out of plastic. The "Floyd Rose" tremolo systems has a Chinese copy feel to it. I have a Peavey EVH where the quality and finish is superb and it didn't cost a lot more than this one.... For the first time (being a steady Thomann customer) I seriuosly considered returning it but I just couldn't be bothered... It plays well after all....and looks good...from a distance.
