A
Perfect for that tough-to-tune tom
Anonymous 25.06.2016
I put this on my Ludwig Epig 16x18 floor tom to try and get rid of some of the "flaappyness" that my previous drum head had, and found that very quickly I could tune it to my preferred tension and get playing. In fact, you could tune it to any tension and get a good sound out of it, the range is so vast you could use it for jazz-highs or punk lows. It needs no dampening at all at any tuning, or at least to my ear, and it's a very good weapon in your studio arsenal for any tom that's either difficult to tune, or hard to EQ, and I've found that it's a lot of fun to work with.
