Bright, warm light

We bought some of these to provide video lighting for churches. The light output is very impressive and the constant 3000k output looks great both on camera and in person.
The beam angle adjustment is great and allows for a huge range of cover. It’s not a follow spot so please don’t expect a crisp edge on the beam. It has a blurred edge to it which is preferable for our needs.
Would not hesitate to buy these again.

Nice built unit, looks like a real par can. Output is better than 500w narrow, almost identical to 1000w. Petty thomann sent me a EU power cable with a stupid adapter rather than including an additional uk power cable like they have with other products

Insgesamt ziemlich zufrieden, allerdings habe ich mir unter "temperaturgeregelter Lüfter" was anderes vorgestellt. Der Lüfter geht einfach an sobald irgendein Helligkeits-Wert höher als 000 anliegt/eingestellt ist und die Lüfter-Lautstärke ändert sich meiner Meinung nach auch nicht mehr durch längerer Betriebsdauer oder höherer Helligkeit. Vergleichbar mit einem nicht ganz leisem Beamer-Lüfter - für mich grad noch ok für unseren Einsatzzweck (Beleuchtung von Rednern in Kirche). Die Anleitung könnte noch etwas ausführlicher sein (z.B. was die unterschiedlichen Dimmkurven machen).
Besonders positiv ist mir aufgefallen, dass alle Elektronik-Teile als Ersatz auf der Herstellerseite bestellt werden können.

Overall, pretty satisfied, although I had something different in mind when I heard “temperature-controlled fan”. The fan simply turns on as soon as any brightness value is higher than 000 and, in my opinion, the fan volume no longer changes due to longer operating times or higher brightness. Comparable to a not very quiet projector fan - for me it's still ok for our purpose (lighting for speakers in church). The instructions could be a little more detailed (e.g. what the different dimming curves do). What struck me particularly positively was that all electronic parts can be ordered as replacements from the manufacturer's website.
