I bought this for a home party and placed it inside my shed. I found that the periodic timed flash was more like a lamp turning on then off. When the unit is sound activated, the flash is much faster, and the effect is really good.

Primero lo mas importante, no es una luz de xenón.
Ni se acerca en brillo o capacidad de congelar movimiento.

Con eso ya dicho y aclarado tal como lo pone en el producto es una luz espectroscópica LED. Es una luz muy pequeña de ideal para iluminar un objeto de tamaño medio, por ej, una mesa o hasta una pared en un cuarto pequeño. No le pidas mas!
La opción de control por sonido es curioso y con el ajuste de velocidad puede dar efectos interesantes. Eso si, el micrófono integrado no es muy sensible así que mejor poner-lo bastante cerca de un altavoz por no decir delante.

En resumen, es un producto ideal para un cuarto a oscuras.
Si el presupuesto es limitado es una buena opción de compra, pero si puedes, mejor algo un poco mas potente.
