Just what I needed
Zinho 28.02.2023
They came in perfect condition. They are just great.

Btw, I'm using it in a 27 inch scale 7 string guitar for drop A tuning (low A).

A fat chuggy beast
Primzi 20.07.2020
I use this on my 7 string guitar for the last string.
It works great, holds tuning, does not corrode, I change it every month or month and a half.

Great string, + u get 3.

Ernie Ball never disappoints

Great strings as always from EB. Sound great and last well. I use 64 gauge for a low Bb on my 6 string electric, meaty sound.

Z
A guitar string that sounds like a bass string
Zappatore 13.02.2025
I bought these strings to have a thicker string for a drop A tuning experiment. This string would have the right tension for tuning to A1 on a 25.5 scale guitar, however it sounds more like a bass string than a guitar string, a little muffled and dark, not sparkly as a usual Ernie Ball string. I found that going below .058 in diameter the strings sound more like a guitar, brighter and with a faster attack, however the tension is too light especially if you pick with a heavy right hand. And yes, I know I should use at least a 26.5 scale guitar but mine was just an experiment!
