Alutrommel mit ca. 20cm Durchmesser und dünnem Kunststofffell.Die Stimmung habe ich übernommen und ist völlig unbeeindruckt von Temperatur und Feuchtigkeitsschwankungen.
Der Korpus ist etwa 36cm hoch und hat eine schöne Metalliklackierung.Der Aluspannring besitzt fünf Inbusschrauben Nr.5 zum Stimmen und ist recht kantig.Da ist beim Spielen Vorsicht geboten.Ich habe die Darbuka mit Hilfe einer großen Rohrschelle um die Taille (mit Filzbeilage zum Polstern) an einem ungenutzten Beckenständer montiert.So kann ich die Neigung einstellen und bin auch flexibel in der Höhe.
Die typischen Sounds dieser Trommeln lassen sich intuitiv gut erzeugen.In meinem Percussionset habe ich so ganz einfach orientalische Klänge integriert.
Sollen die tiefen Sounds gut rüber kommen müßte die Trommel wohl extra von unten mikrofoniert werden. Bei mir steht sie neben dem Ständer mit den Chimes,Glöckchen,Schellen und kommt dann über das Kondensermikro noch gut mit in die Anlage.
