I'm using the monitors just for music listening in a small living room (around 3,5m x 5,10m). The speakers and my sofa are placed in an equilateral triangle.
The speakers don't go very low, but the bass is very precise and taut, the midrange is excellent and the treble airy, detailed and without a hint of harshness.
Also, the instrument separation and timbre is spot on as well as imaging.
I listen predominantly to classical and some jazz (as well as some other genres) and these monitors just kill it.
Build quality is excellent as you would expect from Dynaudio and the DSP controls do come in handy, despite being placed on the back of the speakers.

Amazing Monitors!

Ive been using them for 4 months already and the only thing i can say, they are truly amazing, sound is great, you can hear every detail when you listen or compose a song, as any reference monitor should be. High quality built! The only thing i cant understand is the standby mode. It was working for couple of days then it stoped. Or I did something wrong, or there is some issue with my computer. Previously i was using Yamaha monitors, but i cannot even compare them with this king... I highly recommend these monitors for everyone who really want to have awesome reference monitors.

Great Home Studio Nearfield monitor

I've used the speakers for 3 weeks now after the purchase in my home studio as nearfield monitors.
I've put them in and immediately it made me go back and listen to my old mixes cause at once I understood they will point out imperfections that I couldn't hear previously. The clarity is remarkable, the stereo picture is great and the speakers also actually pointed out the positioning faults I had previously.
Highly recommended!

Ich benutze die Dynaudios als Nahfeldmonitore im Heimstudio.
Sie ersetzen ein paar Aktivmonitore von Nubert.
Grund für die Anschaffung war eine vernünftige druckvolle "Abhöre" im Bereich E-gitarren Recording besonders mit dem Axe Fx.
Der Sound ist klar und nicht gefärbt, Im Zusammenspiel mit dem Apogie Duet gibt es keine Probleme. Durch die verschiedenen Anpassungsschalter auf der Rückseite sind die Monitore gut an die Umgebungsbedingung anzupassen. Ich bevorzuge eine eher schlanke Basswiedergabe, funktioniert perfekt.
Hinweis zur Wandmontage:
Ich habe die Monitore auf meine bereits vorhandenen Wandhalter montiert, das geht gerade noch. Bitte vorher messen und das Gewicht von 11 kg/St. berücksichtigen!
