solid, does what it is supposed to do

As usual with Doepfer, a solidly built module. It does what it is supposed to do. Nevertheless, other manufacturers offer twice as many buffered multiples in the same rack space and for a similar price.

RH
Doepfer A180-3 Dual Buff Mult
Richard Hamilton 29.07.2017
There's not a lot to say about a buffered multiple; it does what it needs to do. Here's why I bought one...

After buying a Microbrute, I decided to expand its capabilities with some Eurorack. While researching which modules to start with, a buffered multiple was recommended to ensure the Microbrute's gate out triggered certain modules. Although this was the primary reason for my purchase I've used the A-180-3 for multing envelopes, LFO's and pitch CV's. It's a useful module, and it gets utilised in every patch, somehow.

I'll buy more Doepfer gear in future, the build quality is solid, and it's great value for money. Overall, I'm very pleased with my purchase, and the service I received from Thomann.
