Fed up with having very limited space on my desk, what with controller keyboards, computer keyboards etc. and trying to write on notepads balanced on my knee I decided to try and declutter. The most obvious start was the large mixer that took up the most space and with wires and cords trailing all over I was more than pleased when I discovered the A138p/o. It had all the control and function that my huge and ancient desk top mixer provided with the big plus of no current draw itself and the ability of being built up to any number of modules, within reason. With my own home built case there was no problem with space on the rails and I now have room to work on the desktop. It doesn't hum like the old one either.

Mischt alles super zusammen!

Ich habe zwei davon in meiner Modularsammlung und es mischt tadellos alles zusammen. Sehr nützlich sind die on/off switches, um einzelne Quellen mal schnell wegzuschalten. Und die Gain-Regler sind auch sehr schön, um den Regelbereich der Level-Regler zu maximieren.
Sehr gelungen!
Noch cooler wäre es, wenn der Aux-Regler auf der einen Seite pre und auf der anderen Seite post-fader wäre. Jetzt muss man beim Einbau sich entscheiden und entsprechend die Jumper setzen.

Performance mixer Eurorack

Avevo bisogno di un mixer per il mio sistema eurorack ma senza dove lottare con problemi di spazio, alimentazioni esterne e mille altri problemi. Ho trovato questo modulo (in combinazione con Doepfer A-138o) che mi dava le stesse funzioni di una console mixer ma senza dover lottare con i problemi sopracitati. E' un prodotto Doepfer, sinonimo di qualità e basso costo. Le funzionalità sono semplici, chiunque conosce il funzionamento di un mixer può capirle. Può essere tranquillamente espanso con un altro o altri 2 moduli A-138p. E' passivo, non ha bisogno di alimentazione in quanto si alimenta attraverso l' A-138o.
Consigliatissimo soprattutto per il prezzo che è meno di 1/3 della concorrenza.

Das fehlte mir schon lange im Eurorack

Wie immer bei Doepfer sehr guter Aufbau und gute Verarbeitung für einen relativ kleinen Preis. Endlich auch eine Pappverpackung und nicht nur Plastikluftpolsterfolie.
Es können 4 Eingänge an das Modul Doepfer A-138o vermischt weitergegeben werden. Durch den Einsatz mehrerer A-138p Module kann der Mischer beliebig erweitert werden. Was mir immer schon irgendwie gefhlt hat, ist die Pan-Möglichkeit direkt im Rack.
