4 Sinus LFO's at your service.
Monkeproggs 01.02.2021
This module does exactly what you think. It delivers 4 separate sinus waves each set at a 90 degree phase from each other.
So you have 0, 90, 180, 270 degrees.
It has 2 CV inputs to control frequency, CV1 without attenuator and CV2 with polarizer. Consequently the module can be used even as an experimental sine VCO but does NOT feature an exact 1V/oct CV input! It doen't track well, but can be used for effects and such.
It ranges from 0.1 Hz to 3.5 KHz and has the usual L/M/H switch.
I use it a lot to do interesting panning effects and phasing effects.
PROS: Good classic Doepfer build. Simple to use and understand.
CONS: Could have implemented 1 v/oct tracking to further its uses. You can really make some interesting FM sounds with it but you can't play them with CV :-(

Very satisfied, will never leave my rack
andewprod 28.06.2021
All in all this module is just worth any penny! Here are some pros and cons:

- there are no cons, really

pros:

- the build quality is very good
- i really like the two LEDs which show what is going on
- i really like the concept of having 4 sinewaves in a different phase
- I like that there are two CV inputs, even one attenuated
- I love the range switch, gives a lot of flexibility
- cheap price
- doesnt take too much space in the rack

I use this module in 95% of my patches, my patches are built oftentimes around that module. There is nothing i could complain about that module, really. My patches wouldnt be the same without that module.
I recommend this module to everyone who is into modular.

Mmm... Shepard's Tone
Simon P 29.07.2013
I specifically bought this module to help me create a shepards tone. You know, a forever rising or descending tone.

Well this works great.

I've also been using it a lot in conjunction with four sound sources and four VCA's to create slowly morphing soundscapes.

It can also be used as a pretty sweet sinewave oscillator when used at audio rate.
