Sinnvoll, wenn es um ein noch volleres Tonvolumen v. a. in der Durchsetzungsfähigkeit mit Bläsern geht. Dafür ist bei der Erstmontage lediglich ein bisschen Schrauberei über die 16 Spannhaken nötig, um den Resonator über den Resonatorkranz am Deering Goodtime Banjo zu befestigen. Das Instrument wird bei längerem Spielen im Stehen damit schon spürbar schwerer. Bleibt bei mir also beim Proben nicht dran. 4 Kreuzschlitzschrauben und das war es. Der verchromte Resonatorkranz bleibt dabei dann aber dran. - Leider fehlte eine Bedienungsanleitung, was Dank Youtube aber kein Problem war. Beim Spannen des Fells muss man vorsichtig vorgehen. Ein passender Imbusschlüssel für die 16 Spannhaken wäre auch gut gewesen.
