This is a great pedal, its my only fuzz but I feel like it caters for many fuzz tones. I'm still getting to know it after a couple of weeks. Also fuzz in general.
I can totally recommend this pedal, even though its on the expensive side, it does come packed with fuzz tones.

Sound, Verarbeitung und Handling sind den 300€ Preis entsprechend hochwertig. Nicht weniger darf man bei einem Boutiquepedal erwarten.
Die eigentliche Magie sind diese wahnsinnig musikalischen Sounds.
Ich hab Melodien und Riffs gespielt, auf die ich nicht in tausend Jahren gekommen waren, ohne dieses Pedal.
Dieses Pedal is ein absolutes Fuzzchamäleon. Da stecken sounds für 4 Fuzzpedale drin. Eine Absolute kreativ-waffe!
Einzig die Größe könnte für sehr eng gepackte Pedalboards eine Herausforderung sein. Es hat ungefähr das Format eines alten Big Muff. Vielleicht etwas gestauchter.
Mein Fazit: Ich frage mich, wie ich ohne dieses Pedal leben konnte.
ps getestet wurde an einem Marshall jubilee, vox ac 15 und mesa blue angel. Drei amps mit völlig anderen grundsounds, bei allen dreien war es super!

I use this unit mainly for rhodes piano, from gentle lead drives to huge broken fuzz distortion, and for synths to add a bit of grit when needed.
I've searched for years for the right fuzz for my rhodes tones, and after about 3 other very good candidates, the Apocalypse has secured its position in this role.
The build quality is excellent. It feels sturdy and chunky, all the knobs feel tightly secured and are a joy to twist. The range of tones you can pull out of this is rather ridiculous. The fact that you have 5 modes with an equalizer makes this one of the most versatile pedals out there in its category. Guitar players can surely pull out tones for days and for producers this is a great unit for giving your artists a tool that will most certainly cater to their distortion needs.
The only downside is that it's pretty pricey, but considering the build quality and its superb versatility, you're essentially easily getting 5 pedals in one box. So ultimately the price is relative to your needs.
From a design perspective I'd love to have an additional bias/starvation knob that could push the sound even further into oblivion or a breaking point. But you more or less get that already with the existing tones.

J'utilise cette pédale pour faire du rock bien noise.
C'est une fuzz et c'est tout!
On peut modifier le grain mais ça reste une fuzz, elle ne peut pas être utilisé pour faire autre chose, elle n'est pas versatile.
Au début je pensé pouvoir faire un peu de blues mais non c'est du death by audio et c'est comme çà. il fut un temps où j'ai hésité de la vendre mais au final je la trouve vraiment démentielle et j'ai décidé de la garder et je l'utilise de plus en plus. Elle a du caractère et sonne vraiment au top. Je ne regrette absolument pas cet achat elle prône fièrement sur mon Pedalboard. Si vous voulez une fuzz, allez y les yeux fermés, elle déboite!
