I bought this to replace the original black scratchguard on a 1993 Silver Series Squier Jazz Bass. Unfortunately, it doesn't quite fit - the screw holes don't quite line up and the neck bridge hole is in a very, very slightly different position. However, even though I am not fitting it and returning it, my feedback is that it is an extremely pretty scratchguard! It is a slightly darker red than in the pictures, which I like as it is more like the old tort or tortoiseshell scratchguards on classic Fenders. It also looks really well made. So, if it definitely fits your Jazz bass, be assured that it will give it a very positive facelift!

Real Pearl Pick Guard!

While ordering this low priced pick guard, I in calculated that the pick guard would just have a red and black pattern, without the pearl shining effect. The pictures on the site are not always giving a good impression.
It was a huge surprise that this pick guard however was really shining and got this original pearl effect!
A few screw holes didn’t fit to my base, but that’s always to be prepared for, just fill the wrong holes in the body and drill new correct holes.
So, dAndrea pick guards are very beautiful pick guards for a very low price!

I was looking for replacement for pick-guard, this one is great, looks great, feels great, but doesn't fit on my fender jazz pro bass 1 from 2019. screw holes are perfect, but there is small 1-2 mm gap between control plate and pick-guard.
