Eignet sich u.a. auch gut um es in der Mitte zu teilen um so Breakoutkabel (aka "Kabelpeitschen") von Sub D Stecker auf Steckverbinder eigener Wahl zu löten.
Das kommt meist günstiger als fertig konfektionierte Kabel solcher Art und man spart sich dabei das eher mühsame Löten des Sub D Steckers!

Mitgeliefert sollte auch ein Säckchen mit zusätzlichen Fixierschrauben zum Wechseln von metrischer auf UNC Norm werden - dieses geht zwar mitunter beim Versand verloren, wurde mir bei Bedarf aber auf Anfrage immer nachgeliefert.
