Great amp!
Anonymous 15.12.2016
This is a great amp. I was looking for Peavey 6505+ I totally liked how it sounds. And then i found Bugera 6262 and it's awesome amp for the price and it sounds just like Peavey and maybe even better! I've had a Bugera Trirec for about 2,5 years now. But Bugera 6262 sounds better in my opinion. Killer sound. This is an excellent amp and excellent price.

Immense amp at an incredible price
James1405 12.05.2014
The Bugera 6262 Infinium is a beast of an amp at an unbelievable price. Now I know, all you valve amp purists out there are probably going to stick your nose up at anything that comes out of China but more fool you. This amp has tone, volume and is reliable as a house brick. The valve check system and auto bias features mean valves are no longer a headache and really does work well. I've been gigging mine for a year or so now along side my usual Peavey 6505 and it holds it's own against the Peavey with no reliability issues what so ever. The only problem I have found is there is a little more noise than I would like on the high gain 'lead' channel but the addition of a noise gate pedal easily solves this. All in all this is a killer amp with a lovely tone both clean and hot at an incredible price. You should forget your hang ups and try one NOW!

Bugera 6262 Infinum + Harley Benton G412A Celestion V30 = a budget match made in heaven!?
tgchan.com 11.01.2023
The next amp for me personally that could dethrone this one is Hughes&Kettner TubeMeister Deluxe 40 and it is 1000zl more (+- 213 euro)

So I use this as my bedroom practice amp. Yup, you've heard me right.

I use this as my bedroom practice amp which I often use at 4 a.m. while my mum sleeps almost next door.

No attenuation, no volume box or anything other needed. Just a 120-Watt Valve Amp and 4x12 v30/

The amp has no master volume but it doesn't really matter. The volume knob works just fine and I am so glad that I have finally tested it on my own.

It is no louder/harder to tame than my Marshal DSL1 @1W/full power mode or Joyo Zombie XL with 1x12. Actually I think it is easier on Bugera because knobs are bigger and easier to adjust with small increments.

I really cannnot say anything bad about this amp except for none-standard footswitch that you cannot buy any more... I really hope thomann can come up with something here...

So what you get:

- a 120-Watt full Valve Amp that can be used anytime throughout the day and night; even in a flat/
- 2 channels and a half. CLEAN/CRUNCH (shared knobs) & LEAD
- a footswitch that you can use to turn on/off FX loop, Clean/Crunch, Lead.
- 6 preamp valves
- 4 6L6 poweramp valves
- absolutely amazing look (you can see power valves glowing and all other chrome guts)
- compared to Peavey 6505mh which cost almost exactly the same... it is just not even worth any words to compare those two/ Bugera is just superior in any possible way/

The footswitch alone deserves a few words of prize and gratitude. You can toogle between clean/crunch and lead channels and turn on and off FX loop. What else could you wish for!? This covers all my needs and of course full separate crunch channel would be amazing but I really cannot say anything bad about it/ Sometimes I wish my clean would be louder but since it shares the same volume knob of the crunch channel it is often too quiet. But hey... look at the price... and tell me which other amp in this price range offers you 3 (2.5 really) channels: clean/crunch & lead.

Exactly... none.

Crunch is amazing. Really crunchy and punchy with full body sound. Lead is a bit thin and harsh but I play with all the EQs @ 12 o'clock and rather quietly.

If you could buy a spare footswitch I would buy one straight away/ I still hope it will work just fine for years to come.

I cannot recommend this amp enough... really... and I am absolutely super picky. You just cannot get anything even close for what this great amp has to offer/

I bought Peavey 6505MH a few days ago and returned it because for almost exact same price... it was worse all round... From the sound to features and built quality.

I wish I could compare it to 5150 Block Letter or any other full size Peavey or other 5150 but... just look at the price... and now look again. You would have to pay 2x, 3x or maybe even 4x more.

I am a gear addict and it is so hard to actually buy anything else after the Bugera 6262... You just have to pay more for less lol which is like " Hol'Up, wait a min..." and then you question reality lol

Want to save money? Buy Bugera 6262 + Harley Benton 4x12 v30 and it will cure 98% of your g.a.s. .

Channels Bleeding Together
John_m 25.06.2020
I received the 6262 head & instantly noticed that the high gain (lead channel) didn't have that much gain even with the lead chan gain knob maxed out - bizarrely I noticed that the turning gain knob on the **clean channel** added more gain to the lead channel... this means that the clean channel is no longer pristine clean when i switched channels from lead to clean... pretty unusable & very disappointing so I have had to return the head & am currently waiting (end of June 2020) for a fully functioning replacement. Its a pity - because the tones from the amp sound awesome. Hopefully its an issue unique to my specific amp, and not a bug in the 6262 models in general...
