I've been looking for a mouthpiece to use outside and in the cold, that I can quickly play at a gig when theres no space or time to warm up. This mouthpiece does the job!
Pros:
Feels soft and its warm the moment it touches your lips, this makes it easy to just pick up and play.
The mouthpiece is light, compared to a selection of mouthpieces I have including ones in brass and bronze, it takes less air to get the notes out. It also takes the fear out of dropping your mouthpiece!
The intonation is fairly even thoroughout the octaves (with the usual pitfalls with most trumpets as you ascend throught the octaves), it's easy to bend the notes as ornamentations to your playing
Cons:
The sound from the horn is thinner, particularly the lower notes are missing some of the lows and feel slightly thinner, it may stick out in your section or you may not like the sound depending on how it works with your horn.
It can stick out in a section, particularly if you're used to seeing shining metallic mouthpieces in the section.
Conclusion:
This is a great mouthpiece if your looking for something light and portable, always warm the moment you start playing provided you're willing to sacrifice on the lows in your notes especially below the staff
