PROS:
1.Several output options for any situation.
2.I've only used it for a few weeks so can't properly judge its durability but it feels fairly solid. I've just had some bad experiences with another multi effects by another very famous brand so I'm happy to have a Boss pedal now. Reliability is important!
3.Very quiet foot switches.
4.Compared to others, you can get a good acoustic guitar sound out of it.
5.Notch filter suppresses unwanted feedback and noises. Somehow when I use the pedal with the power supply in my house I hear a ground loop hum but the notch filter cancel that noise.
6.Lightweight
CONS:
1.This thing works with lots of hidden features so you have to learn the manual to properly use it and access those features. The manual is not very long though so I personally don't mind.
2.This pedal has a good sound but so far I'm not impressed with the effects. They're not bad and they're not super. They're... OK.
3.As a singer, I'd like the vocal part to be more developed and have more tweaking options. I'd like to have more options for the harmonies especially, like gender, response time (for example, the double effect can't be made tighter). There's only certain fixed harmonies you can use and you can't even mix the double effect with another harmony. I mean, you can't get too creative with the vocal effects.
4. You can't trigger both vocal effects and guitar effects together. This could be very useful in a chorus for example where you need a sudden change both in the guitar and vocal sound.
Overall I'm happy with this pedal. If you need something to trigger your creativity or crazy effects and endless tweaking options, look elsewhere. This thing does exactly what is says: it's a tool for live acoustic singers. It's solid, it gives you a good sound and if dosed/tweaked well and not overused, the effects can add the right colour to your performance. For this price I think it's a good product.
