A luxury, But fun!
Pete A. 07.06.2017
I got this this one on a bit of a whim.

Some people look down on Boss stuff as all being very mediocre while others swear by them. Me I like to judge every brand and every pedal on there own merit.

For the majority I've enjoyed using Boss stuff as all of it is built to last! And the sounds are generally of a good standard (not been a fan of there distortion pedals from the few I tried). And maybe another slight negative would be some of the competition in some cases have maybe more flexibility.

As for the MO-2, I listened to some demos and thought it sounded pretty cool and... it does. It can do a pretty good organ sound which was one of the things that attracted me to it and I've kind of locked with that as I can mix it into my sound at times.

However it can do loads of weird! and wonderful things, But how often are you gonna use them.

I cant knock the pedal for what it does as it does a good job. Suppose it comes down to your situation and what kind of music your trying to do and also if your pedal board can accommodate the space.

New useful effect
tmsmtz 06.05.2021
New, fresh and very useful pedal. I would describe it as a chorus/octave/detune effect with a sprinkle of magic dust overtones. Sort of. You can achieve very ethnic-ish string sounds with single notes, but with the balance at 7-9 o'clock it also works well with power chords. For me, the magic happens when you throw in single notes between power chords. I haven't explored it fully yet, but I am truly exited about this pedal. A future Boss classic me thinks.

What a pedal!
csGuitar 09.07.2023
This pedal is very different then others.
I experimented with this pedal. Finally I decided to put it after the distortion.
It can create a very nice harmonic sound which is difficult to describe.
It is a very dynamic pedal sometimes creating sounds kind of a synth.
Also I like the mono or stereo output.

An octaver in all but name
HappyTree 31.01.2024
The unit works well. I was just expecting more "overtones" than octaves.
