Electric viola with vibrating body and complete feedback resistance
Made by master luthier Bodo Vosshenrich in the south of France
Top, back and sides are cold-pressed from ingeniously perforated, high-quality sheet aluminium
The Electrola has a soundpost, a bass bar and a light and relatively elastic bridge
Assembly of wood and aluminium parts with high-tech epoxy glue
Scale and body length correspond to the acoustic viola
Spruce fingerboard with 2 mm ebony veneer
Wittner fine-tuning pegs
Ebony tailpiece
Sound pickup via 3 strategically placed PDVF foil pickups
6.3 mm mono jack socket as output
The Electrola is based on an acoustic viola with a body length of 40.5 cm, the scale and outer dimensions are the same, but the vibrating part of the body is shorter.
Larger vibrating surfaces and a corresponding arching design provide a real viola timbre.
