Great value, reasonable sound quality
Robert582 15.05.2013
Behringer products are often looked down upon but for the money you can't do much better. I am a pro A/V installer and these speakers always perform and last well. In fact they sound better than a lot of similar cheap speakers. They are a touch on the treble heavy side but this can easily be tweaked with EQ. I used them in conjunction with their custom wall mounts and these proved to be ultra strong and sturdy. The speakers can take knocks well. I have had another pair knocking around for about 6 years and they have been dropped and kicked so many times, but are still going strong.

Good speaker for the money.. a few adjustment can make it a great speaker. the line signal to the amp should be a little above .. Good for vocal and speech. I used it a few times and im satisfied. Good service from thomann.

EV
For small events and speech.
Edmunds V. 11.02.2014
The Behringer EUROLIVE B212XL bought for small events, so that the light weight and ad description was good. At first glance, I was very happy because of the good quality plastic and visually looks good. The sound seemed good but feeling that frequencies above the muddy sound. Moderate level, a lack of clarity, but when has a maximum volume, then it opens as the top speaker frequency. But the sound is like a DJ smile :) Subwoofer required to be put to the sound to be complete.
Compared to a Behringer EUROLIVE B1220 Pro and the first that fell on the ears, equally loud Behringer EUROLIVE B212XL sounds quieter and muddy.
Seriously, the price and weight I was very satisfied, but the sound could be better.
I recommend only for small events. Speech.

Good quality speaker at a great price
Robert883 06.11.2014
I hear people knock Behringer gear but to honest I've had no issues with these speakers and I also run them through a PMP2000 amp which sounds great at the right volumes.
There is a temptation amongst most to crank the amp up as much as possible and to be as loud as you can get away with. Unless you are paying through the roof, you don't get away with that with most speakers and these are no different. However, used at the correct levels etc, they sound fantastic. Very light and neat looking, perfect for the smaller occasion.
I'm looking at getting a slightly more powerful version for the bigger venue but these are ideal for most occasions.
