I decided that I needed to start a project with my Squier Standard Precision bass and the Babicz bridge was one of the first components I chose to replace.
Here's the rub - it slots straight in as a direct replacement. A very easy DIY upgrade for most Fenderesque Jazz/Precision basses (do check before buying).
What do you get? Well, a far punchier tone, much broader scale of adjustment and a serious look.
This bridge is not cheap for what it is, but it is very well crafted. It will last a long time. It's fairly light, also. Far lighter than the bridge it replaced, anyway. It feels like a high quality product.
Adjusting the intonation is a bit of a faf, but that's the only minor bad point I can think off. The action adjustment is a experience to behold. It's lovely. Over-engineered, but I like that in a 'thing'. I might sound a little geeky, but the smoothness of the saddle hight adjustment is something I could play with for hours. It all adjusts with tiny allen keys.
If you want to give your bass a cool look, better sound and the feel of a far more expensive bass, I would definitely recommend this product.
