You Yanks will know this as a Bach 11 only massively cheaper. The production quality is identical in every way -- Bach manufacture was always farmed out to Germany. Small rim diameter (<17.0mm), fat rim, moderate funneled cup, standard for beginners and few experienced players like me. Not suited for low, too bright elsewhere for many, but lovely sound just the same. Less suited to NY Phil conditions but useful in a good hall. Comfy like a soda bottle rim. So buy it -- it's cheap and a classic, modelled by guys who made history before you and I were born.
