Great product

Why Fender wont use these is beyond me. I advice to use a lock washer with it and if you do it will never come undone unless you want it to.

Retro and easy to instal.

This all parts retrofit jackplate gives you that typical retro telecaster look while being much easier to install than the original style jackcup. It's sturdy and easy to instal.

Well made jack socket, easy to fit, looks smart.

I use a Pure Tone jack socket screwed into the Allparts jack plate. It hasn't come loose in the 3 1/2 years I've been using it (every day on my only electric).

The jack plate was easy to fit - taped in place and drilled through the holes on plate into body for correct angle - and it doesn't rotate or wobble when fitted.

The nickel plating has also stayed unblemished.

There are a couple of cons:
- It has a flat lip around the edge, yet fits on a curved corner of a T-Style guitar. You have to do a little bit of see-sawing when screwing plate to body to get it to look even. (Still looks smart, though).

- If you ever have to remove the jack socket, you will have to unscrew the jack plate from the body first, which could strip the wood screw holes over time.
With a flat plate, like on a Les Paul for example, you only have to loosen the nut on the jack socket and leave the plate attached to body.

So, it's not a perfect design, but it is still very good.

It's well made, durable, and looks tidy when fitted. I am happy with it.
